I've promised myself an early night tonight. Well actually, loads but I'm going to have to save that wonderful explanation for tomorrow because have you seen the time?! I've still got loads of emails to reply to so I'd better get a wriggle on. He lived, died and rose again so that if anyone says sorry for the stuff they've done wrong and invites Jesus to look after their life from thereon in, they will one day (either when they die or when Jesus comes back, whichever happens first) go to heaven to spend eternal life enjoying all the wonderful stuff that this promises.īut what's that got to do with weight loss you'd be forgiven for asking! I believe that over 2000 years ago, Jesus came from heaven to be born as a human. I think the more politically correct term is 'born-again Christian' if that means anything to you.

I'm what some less forgiving media types like to think of as a fanatical Christian. To qualify what I mean by that, I'm not a person who goes to church every Sunday and that's what makes me a Christian.

They have free online bible courses for loads of unhealthy things (smoking, gambling, porn, alcohol) including eating too much.įor those of you who don't know, I'm a Christian. In early February, I stumbled across a website called Setting Captives Free. So what do you think I weigh now?! If I gained 20lb in 2 months, how much more have I gained in the subsequent 7 months? Well I'm pleased to be able to tell you that the answer is none! I gained back almost all of the 20lb I lost in the first 2 months in the subsequent 2 months?! That really is totally and utterly mental! Just goes to prove that diets really don't work. I'm going to have to pause a moment and just digest those numbers. Looking back, I don't actually remember this happening but I know it did because by the time I started The Lord's Table course (more about that in a moment, bear with me!) I was back up to 182lb. Between the beginning of December and the beginning of February, I gained nearly 20lb. Still about 20lb overweight but better than the 210lb I had been. īy the time I'd got to week 8, I was down to about 165lb. OK, so a quick re-cap is in order I think. That's totally ridiculous! That said, having learned what I've learned over the last 7 months, I'm not that surprised at all really. Not quite! Part of me can't believe that my 'another 28 weeks' resolve (coming as it did after the classically hopeless '28 weeks') lasted less that 2 months. Hehehe - did you think that I was about to tell you I hadn't posted on here for 9 months because I've just had a baby?!
